I support strengthening our economy and creating long-term job growth by empowering the private sector - not the government. Small business owners are our primary job creators. In this tough economy, it's important to create an environment that attracts businesses by keeping taxes low, regulations fair and health care more affordable.
Education
As Director of Academic Advising at Midway College, I am honored to serve with students, teachers and administrators. Building a stronger education system is a top priority for me. I will continue to be an advocate for education reforms that improve student achievement and create a brighter economic future for Kentucky.
Lower Healthcare Costs
Commonsense reforms are needed to lower the cost of health care but a federal government takeover of the system is not the answer. I support repealing Obama Care and protecting Kentucky families and businesses from higher taxes and lower quality care.
Family Values
I am 100% pro-life and have been endorsed by the Kentucky Right to Life. I am a strong proponent of second amendment rights.
Create Efficient and Effective Government
Kentucky has a spending problem, not a revenue problem. State government must tighten its belt and control spending without increasing taxes. We need to take a comprehensive look at how state government is spending taxpayer dollars to find ways to create more efficient and effective government. I also support making government more transparent because taxpayers deserve to know how their money is being spent.
